Hiking

Mountains in Wisła are beautiful in every time of year, but so colourful landscapes can be seen only in Autumn. Hiking is a proposition for those, who want to spend free time in the bosom of nature without much physical effort.

The Beskids are one of the safest, as well as the most beautiful mountains in Europe. Wisła has over 93 miles of colourful, gentle tourist trails, which can lead you around all Wisła and its vicinity. The city is a perfect base for jaunt to Czantoria (995 meters above sea level), Stożek (978 meters above sea level), Trzy Kopce Wiślańskie (803 meters above sea level), and to the Barania Mountain (1220 meters above the sea level). There is a sights tower on the peak of the last mountain. One can see even the Tatra Mountains from it.

When planning a trip, one must have in mind the possibility of sudden weather changes. The specific climate is on one hand marked with a very strong sun exposure, and on the other hand very high humidity and unusually often and heavy rain. Because of this the weather can change several times during the day.
The colours of the trails are not connected with the difficulty level.
